Biography
I grew up in Salem, Oregon where I picked up and started playing volleyball in 4th grade. I played all throughout my senior year in high school, when I suffered a season ending injury during the 3rd pre-season match.
After high school, I attended Boise State University my freshman year of college, where I played in their rec co-ed league until transferring to Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. For 3 years, I was the undergraduate assistant for the Western Oregon Wolves Division II Volleyball program and got to run drills and travel with the team until I graduated.
After graduation, I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. where due to my demanding full time job, I had to take a break from coaching for about 4 years. Upon getting a job offer in Dallas, Texas. I moved out here and stumbled upon a high school JV coaching position that was open. I have since coached 3 seasons at Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep (1 year as JV, 2 years as Varsity Head Coach) and was the assistant coach for 2 seasons at Instinct Volleyball Club in Lake Dallas, Texas.
I call coaching my fun job and really enjoy building relationships with the athletes and helping them reach their full potential. Being able to work with athletes during practice and games/tournaments and seeing the results speak for themselves, is always the best feeling as a coach. I grew up in a military family, so believe in hard work and discipline but at the same time, enjoying what you do to make it a pleasant experience!

Western Oregon University - BA in General Ed., with a minor in History/Criminal Justice (2012-2015
