SUMMER 1 LEAGUE REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Our Summer League is designed for athletes who want structured play, skill development, and consistent game experience in a competitive but supportive environment.

This league focuses on strengthening fundamentals while building confidence through weekly match play. It’s a great fit for players continuing their development, preparing for future club opportunities, or simply wanting more time on the court.

Athletes in the league will work on:

• Ball control and consistency
• Serving and serve receive
• Offensive and defensive systems
• Communication and court awareness
• Competitive match experience

League Format

• 4-week session at the Flyers Sports & Event Center
• Season ending tournament included
• Divided into Recreational and Competitive / Club divisions

Divisions and Age Groups

Recreational Division (Players who cannot serve overhand and have never played club volleyball.)

• 7 – 8 years old
• 9 – 10 years old
• 11 – 12 years old

Important: Recreational players do NOT attend placement day. Teams will be assigned automatically.

Competitive Division (Players who can serve overhand and have previous league or club experience.)

• 11 – 12 years old
• 13 – 14 years old
• 15 – 16 years old

11-12 Competitive Division Players must attend placement day:

• Placement Day: April 27 at 6:00 PM

If placement day is missed, the athlete will be placed in the Recreational Division.

13-16 year old Competitive players do not need to attend placement day.

If you cannot attend placement day, email knguyen@ffvbc.com prior to April 27 with your athlete’s full name.

Important Dates

• Week 1 – Practice Week of May 11 | Game May 15
• Week 2 – Practice Week of May 18 | No Game
• Week 3 – Practice Week of May 25 | Game May 29
• Week 4 – Practice Week of June 1 | Game June 5
• Week 5 – Practice Week of June 8 | Game June 12

End of Season Tournament: June 13 (Evening)

Team Request Instructions

If you have a pre-formed team that would like to compete in the league, please complete the form below:

Only one parent needs to complete the form.

Each parent must still register their athlete individually.

If you have a complete team from outside the Flyers Club, email knguyen@ffvbc.com for team registration options.

Friend Requests

All athletes must be registered before friend requests can be honored.

League Structure

• Practices Begin: May 11
• Teams practice once per week (90 minutes)
• Practice days run Sunday – Thursday
• Match play occurs Friday evenings
• Teams play two matches each Friday

Cancellation Policy

• League staffing is scheduled based on registration numbers.
• Cancellations will receive account credit only.
• No cash or credit card refunds.

Refund Schedule

• Full Credit: Cancel 14+ days before assessments
• 50% Credit: After first assessment begins
• No Refund: After practices begin
