Biography
My name is Jack Dinsmore and I have been coaching volleyball for nine years. The first six I was an assistant of a recreational team at Fieldhouse USA in Frisco. This is my third year of being an assistant coach for the Flyers and I'm grateful for the opportunity.
One question I always ask of my assigned team(s) is: when is the next tryout for the Flyers? They were a little bewildered at the question and answered with the correct months for clinics and signing day. The answer to that question is: YOU ARE ALWAYS TRYING OUT FOR THE FLYERS.
Whether it is a clinic, practice, league game, bonding event or tournament, coaches are ALWAYS evaluating the players. The life lesson I am trying to convey is, whether it is volleyball, school, or in their future careers, they are always being evaluated for their next. And they need to bring their best at all times.
