Megan was a collegiate hitter and back up setter for four years at John Brown University. She has played right side, middle and setter in her career. Coaching is her favorite job and she loves meeting new athletes with her same drive and love of the game.

Coach Megan grew up in Frisco, and actually played at Frisco Flyers her senior year of high school. She is happy to return on the other side of the curtain as a coach! She is newly married (November 2020) to her husband, Britt, who was also a college athlete (Soccer Goal-Keeper).

In her free time, Megan enjoys giving private lessons (more volleyball!), reading, and exploring new places with Britt!

Philosophy
Megan is dedicated to the fundamentals of the game. She understands that negative habits become barriers in years to come. Her goal is to help players create and develop habits that maximize performance, encourage team chemistry, and bring results.

Work ethic and character are the most important things on the court to Megan. "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." Humility, shown through coachability, and confidence, shown through work ethic and attitude, are game changers.

Megan strives to teach her players that volleyball is not only a game we love, but a place where we develop skills for life. She is committed to developing your player as an entire person. Volleyball is an avenue for life lessons and relationships, where players build discipline, accountability, and team work in a competitive, goal-oriented atmosphere.
