Biography
Greta moved from Illinois to Texas in 2013. While in Illinois, she played for Illini Elite VBC and has played club volleyball since she was 8 years old. Her club teams qualified for Nationals every year from the age of 13 to the age of 18, and even won Northern Lights Qualifier without dropping a single set. Suffering two knee injuries before graduating high school, Greta made the tough decision to not play in college, but instead joined the collegiate club team. These days you can still find Greta playing volleyball in adult tournaments and leagues.

Greta started coaching back in Illinois for Illini Elite VBC while she was obtaining her Master's degree at Illinois State University. Greta has been with Flyers since 2018 and has coached age groups between 12 and 17. She believes that coaching is not only about building our youth into better athletes, but also growing them into better human beings. Every player has something unique to offer and coaching is about finding what makes each player special and using those characteristics as drivers to make them successful.

Her favorite quote: "When the reward is great enough, the struggle is never strong enough." - Trent Shelton
