Biography
I have been coaching youth sports like football, basketball, baseball and volleyball for over 17 years. I've been coaching volleyball exclusively for the last 13 years and this is my 9th year with Frisco Flyers. My coaching experience ranges from all age divisions as well as any experience level. Over the last couple of seasons, I've been building a college contact list and creating relationships which resulted in players continuing their playing careers at colleges like Bethel College, Nebraska-Kearney, Lane College. I'll continue to use those relationships to create options for players to play in college and receive an education.
Philosophy:
Teaching players the game is more important than just coaching them. I break things down to the simplest form and explain it in a way where anyone can understand and apply. I am big on players self-analyzing and understanding the “why did this happen when I did this”. Once they understand the causality, you start to see auto correction, which makes players smarter.
