I am Nolan Ackerman and I have been playing volleyball for over half of my life. I began my volleyball journey on the sidelines of my parents sand leagues every weekend in the summer, then started playing indoor club volleyball at age 11. I still currently play high level beach volleyball across the country.

My coaching philosophy is very player focused. I believe in teaching athletes how to think at a high level regardless of their mechanical abilities. Also to reinforce that volleyball is a game and is supposed to be fun. I have seen many athletes get burnt out or grow to resent volleyball, and my goal is to reduce that number of athletes as much as possible.
