My name is Alan Abbruzzese and I began coaching recreation volleyball for PVA in 2010.  I made the jump in 2012 to coaching club volleyball for Texas Assault.  In 2013 I switch to Summit Volleyball Club.  Between 2013 - 2022, I coached teams ranging from 12's - 17's and from developmental to National level teams. I used this time to learn as much as I could from some of the areas top coaches and to develop my coaching style and philosophy.  I coached for Prince of Peace and The Hockaday School during this time.

I focus on a team first atmosphere.   I believe in positive coaching with honest feedback.  I encourage open dialect between myself and my players.  My goal is for the players to reach their goals and potential.
