Biography
My name is Lexi Shafer and I am a native Texan. I discovered my love for volleyball at the age of 10. I played club volleyball for eight years along with junior high and high school ball. My goal was to play at the next level and I was fortunate to do this at the University of Dallas. Unfortunately, my time on the court came to an end due to injuries. But my love for the game remains, and I am excited to come back to the court in a different capacity.
I am currently studying to get my degree in Elementary Education at the University of North Texas.
Philosophy
Volleyball is so much more than just playing a sport. There are so many lessons learned through volleyball that these girls will carry on throughout their lives. I want to inspire my players to work hard, give it their all while having fun playing the game.
