I am Kevin Nguyen and I have been coaching young athletes for the past 15 years. Throughout my coaching career, I have had the opportunity to coach various sports such as football, softball, volleyball, archery, and firearms. These are all sports that I have played in my youth and have a deep passion for.

One of the core beliefs I hold is that player development is crucial for success. While winning may be enjoyable, it is not the sole indicator of growth and progress. I instill in my athletes the mindset that there are winners and learners - emphasizing that learning from both victories and defeats is important for personal growth.

Good sportsmanship is another essential aspect that I prioritize in my coaching. I teach my athletes the values of respect, integrity, and fair play, both in victory and in defeat. Additionally, I strive to foster mental resilience in my players, encouraging them to dig deep and never give up, no matter the circumstances.

My coaching philosophy revolves around providing players with a solid foundation of fundamentals. I believe that these fundamentals are the building blocks for their future success in their chosen sport. By equipping them with these essential skills, I aim to help them prosper and develop throughout their entire athletic careers.
